Pharmaceutical form:
Injectable suspension (Susp.i.)
Composition: per ml:
Amoxicillin (as amoxicillin trihydrate) 140 mg; clavulanic acid (as potassium clavulanate) 35
mg; butylated hydroxyanisole (E320) 0,08 mg; butylated hydroxytoluene (E321) 0,08 mg.
Pharmacological properties:
In vitro potentiated amoxicillin is effective against a broad spectrum of aerobic bacteria and
clinically important anaerobic bacteria, including: Gram ( ): Staphylococci (including strains
β-lactamase producing), streptococci, corynebacteria and clostridia. Gram (-): Escherichia coli,
Campylobacter spp., Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Pasteurella spp., Bacteroides (including strains
b-lactamase producers) and Haemophilus spp.
Indications and target species:
Cattle: Treatment of respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia
haemolytica.
Contraindications:
• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to penicillins or other substances in the group
beta-lactam.
• Do not use in rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, or gerbils.
• The use of the product is contraindicated when it is known that there is resistance to this
combination.
Route of administration:
Intramuscular.
Posology:
8,75 mg/kg bw (7 mg/kg bw of amoxicillin and 1,75 mg/kg bw of clavulanic acid) (1 ml per 20 kg
pv) daily for 3-5 days.
• Shake the vial well before use.
• The maximum volume administered at the injection site should not exceed 10 ml.
Wait time:
Meat: 42 days.
Milk: 60 hours (5 milkings).
Conservation mode:
Store at a temperature below 25 °C. Once the vial has been opened, the contents must be used in
a period not exceeding 28 days.
Presentation:
Box with 1 vial of 50 ml and box with 1 vial of 100 ml.
