Composition: per tablet:
ENROX FLAVOR 15 mg: 15 mg of enrofloxacin.
ENROX FLAVOR 50 mg: 50 mg of enrofloxacin.
ENROX FLAVOR 150 mg: 150 mg of enrofloxacin.
Interactions and incompatibilities:
It should not be associated with tetracyclines, phenicols or macrolides due to potential antagonistic effects. Simultaneous administration of fluoroquinolones may increase the action of oral anticoagulants. It should not be associated with theophylline because it can lead to elimination
prolonged use of this substance. Concomitant administration of substances containing magnesium or aluminum may delay the absorption of enrofloxacin.

Indications and target species:
The product is indicated in dogs and cats for the treatment of bacterial infections of the digestive, respiratory and urogenital tracts, secondary wound infections of the skin and otitis externa, where clinical experience indicates, aided where possible by sensitivity testing.

Contraindications:
• Do not use in dogs less than 1 year of age or less than 18 months in exceptionally large dog breeds with a longer growth period, since the articular cartilage may be affected during the period of rapid growth.

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active principle or to any of its excipients.
• Do not use in dogs with a history of epilepsy, as enrofloxacin may cause CNS stimulation.
Side effects:
• During the period of rapid growth, enrofloxacin may affect the development of articular cartilage.
• In rare cases vomiting and anorexia have been observed.

Route of administration:
Orally.
Posology:
• Do not exceed the recommended dose. The dose of enrofloxacin is 5 mg/kg of body weight administered orally. The daily dose can be administered as a single dose or divided into two doses a day, with or without food, for 5-10 days.
• The duration of treatment in dogs may be extended based on clinical response and as deemed by the responsible veterinarian.
• To ensure correct dosing, body weight should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing.
• The daily dose is determined as follows:
– Cats and small dogs: One tablet of Enrox Sabor 15 mg per 3 kg of weight.
– Medium dogs: One tablet of Enrox Sabor 50 mg per 10 kg of weight.
– Large dogs: One tablet of Enrox Sabor 150 mg per 30 kg of weight.
Special precautions:

• The use of fluoroquinolones should be reserved for the treatment of those clinical cases that have responded poorly, or are expected to respond poorly, to other classes of antimicrobials. Whenever possible, fluoroquinolones should be used after performing
a susceptibility test.

• The use of the product in conditions other than those recommended in the Technical Data Sheet may increase the prevalence of bacteria resistant to fluoroquinolones and decrease the efficacy of treatment with other quinolones due to cross-resistance.
• When using this product, local and official recommendations on the use of antimicrobials should be taken into account.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• The product should not be used as prophylaxis.
• Use the product with caution in dogs with severe hepatic or renal deficiency.
