ANTIPARASITIC COCCIVEX
To understand what Coccivex is for, we first need to understand something about Coccidiosis. Coccidiosis is a parasitic disease suffered by birds, although not only them, as a result of parasites called coccidia. It has an impact on most farm or production animals, and normally, each of them is attacked by a specific species of coccidia... But focusing on birds, the coccidia that affect chickens, hens, turkeys..., are the of the genus Eimeria (Eimeria and Phylum Apicomplexa). The incidence of Coccidiosis in poultry farming is very high, so much so that there would be coccidia in every corner where birds are raised. The worldwide damage to animal health, as well as to the economy of farms, is considerable. This makes Coccivex even more necessary.
