Enrofloxacin 150 mg.

Pharmacological properties
Fluoroquinolone with bactericidal action, by acting on bacterial gyrase. Spread spectrum
bactericidal and antimycoplasmic action.

Interactions and incompatibilities
It can present antagonisms with chloramphenicol, macrolides and tetracyclines.

Indications and target species
Dogs y Cats: Respiratory infections, bacterial enteritis, urinary infections, skin and
otitis.
• Treatment of individual and mixed bacterial infections of the respiratory and digestive organs, the urinary system, the ear and the skin, as well as the prevention of wound infections.

Contraindications
• Animals with cartilage growth disorders.
• Dogs under 12 months or that have not finished their growth phase.
• Animals with a clinical history of epilepsy and GABA-related nervous disorders will also be excluded.
• Pregnant or lactating cats and bitches.

Gastrointestinal disorders may occasionally occur.

Route of administration
Oral, applying the tablet directly in the mouth or mixed with food.

Posology
Dogs: 1 tablet/30 kg bw/day, for 5 days; equivalent to 5 mg. of enrofloxacin/kg bw/day.
• In chronic diseases and serious course, the duration of treatment can be extended up to 10 days or more.
• If no clinical improvement is observed within 3 days, reconsider the treatment.
