It is a nutritional supplement whose formula is based on Lysine and DMG , indicated to prevent herpes virus (FHV-1) in adult cats and kittens , or to reduce symptoms and prevent contagion in clinical phase cases.
It is worth noting that DMG is a tertiary amino acid that has anti-inflammatory properties , and also strengthens both humoral and cellular immune response.
Composition:
L-lysine 125mg; N,N-Dimethyl glycine (DMG) HCl 25 mg.
Administration
- Adult cats: 2 prizes twice/day.
- Kittens: 1 prize twice/day.
The veterinarian will determine the duration of treatment, although it is usually recommended to last 2 to 3 weeks in the acute phase . It can be administered either directly into the mouth or added to food.
