For what do you use it

It is used in dogs with hyperadrenocorticism of pituitary or adrenal origin. The active ingredient inhibits the excess glucocorticoids produced by the adrenal glands, thus relieving the symptoms of the disease.

How it is administered

It is given once a day with food. Start with the lowest dose that controls symptoms. If symptoms are not controlled, the manufacturer recommends increasing the daily dose by up to 50% or dividing it into two doses, morning and night. Some dogs may require doses higher than 10 mg/kg per day, with closer monitoring.
