Composition per ml:
Triamcinolone (acetonide) 2 mg.
Pharmacological properties
Synthetic cortisol-derived glucocorticoid with five times greater anti-inflammatory activity
than this, and with hardly any mineralocorticoid activity.
Interactions and incompatibilities
Do not administer together with antidiabetics, barbiturates, potassium-depleting diuretics,
indomethacin, salicylates, antihistamines.
Indications and target species
Horses, Dogs and Cats: Inflammations caused by infections, allergies, trauma or other
etiologies.
Contraindications
• Do not administer to animals with bacterial diseases, without concomitant antibiotic therapy;
fungal or viral infections; renal, hepatic or congestive heart failure.
• Animals with osteoporosis and bone fractures.
• Animals with diabetes mellitus, degenerative eye diseases or corneal ulcer, or in
animals with hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing's syndrome).
• Animals subjected to immunological treatment; as well as pregnant females during the last
third of gestation. Milk production may temporarily decrease with administration
of triamcinolone.
• It is up to the veterinarian to establish emergency therapy in the aforementioned cases.

• Causes delayed wound healing. It can cause weakness in the striated muscles.

• In all target species, intra-articular administration may cause pain, in addition to

Route of administration
Intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous (SC), intrasynovial or intraarticular (IA).
Posology
Shake the product before use.
Horses: IM or SC route: 0,10 to 0,20 ml/10 kg bw, in a single dose (maximum usual range: 6 to 10
ml/animal).
IA or intrasynovial route (arthritis): 3 to 9 ml/animal, in a single dose. Repeat the same dose after 3-4 days,
in necessary case.
Dogs and Cats: IM or SC route: 0,50 to 1 ml/10 kg bw, in a single dose. Remission is usually after
7 to 15 days. If symptoms recur, the dose can be repeated.
IA or intrasynovial route (arthritis): 5 to 15 ml/10 kg bw, in a single dose. Repeat the same dose at 3-4
days, if necessary.
Wait time
Do not administer to equines whose meat is intended for human consumption.
