Pro-Enteric Triplex® is an antidiarrheal from Bioiberica laboratories recommended for the symptomatic management of diarrhea. Thanks to its exclusive composition, it helps to recover the intestinal microflora, which in these processes is altered. By improving the balance of intestinal microflora, restores the defensive barrier that the intestine possesses, making stools more solid.

Another of the benefits of Pro-Enteric Triplex is the best digestive efficiency, since it helps to maintain a source of digestive enzymes that help the enterocyte (located in the intestine) in the absorption of nutrients.

Composition:

Each syringe of PRO-ENTERIC Triplex contains:

• Symbiotic: probiotic (Enterococcus faecium (NCIMB 10415) E1705, 2×1011 CFU/kg) and prebiotic (PREPLEX (FOS and Arabinogalactans)).

Enterococcus faecium (NCIMB 10415) is a probiotic that promotes the competitive exclusion mechanism, and that combats the overgrowth of pathogenic microorganisms (MOO) that trigger diarrhea in our companion animals. Through this competitive exclusion, unwanted pathogenic MOOs are prevented from remaining in the intestine and obtaining nutrients, recovering the normal intestinal flora of our animal.

The prebiotic (Preplex) is a specific substrate for beneficial bacteria such as Enterococcus faecium. When we jointly administer the bacteria with its specific substrate (process called Symbiosis), we enhance the beneficial effect of the probiotic, increasing its viability.

Kaolin has a retention effect on bacteria and their toxins. It prevents both from acting on the intestinal mucosa. Kaolin also makes stools more solid by retaining water.

Pectin thickens liquid feces, thanks to its ability to retain water and normalize intestinal peristalsis (movement).

Mode of use and dosage.

It is indicated for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and other small mammals with diarrhea processes. For any type of race, size and age.

Indicated for diarrhea caused by:

• Broad-spectrum antibiotic oral treatments.

• Alterations or changes in the diet.

• Allergies or food intolerances.

• Intestinal infections (parasitic, viral, bacterial).

• Pancreatic problems, malabsorption syndrome.

• Chronic liver disorders.

• Stress or exhausting situations.

Administer orally 3 times a day the following amounts:

• Puppies, kittens and rabbits: 1ml

• Adult cats: 2 ml

• Adult dogs <10kg: 2 ml

• Adult dogs 10-30 kg: ml

• Adult dogs > 30 kg: 5 ml

The recommended administration period should be a minimum of 3 days.
