Composition by tablet:
Benazepril 4,6 mg (equivalent to 5 mg benazepril hydrochloride). Excipients: Titanium dioxide (E171) 1,929 mg; yellow iron oxide (E172) 0,117 mg; red iron oxide (E172) 0,014 mg; black iron oxide (E172) 0,004 mg.

Indications and target species
Treatment of congestive heart failure in dogs weighing more than 5 kg. Treatment of chronic renal failure in cats. There are no studies in cats less than 2,5 kg.
Contraindications
• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors or any other ingredient,
• Do not use in dogs with heart failure as a result of aortic stenosis.
efectos secundarios
Some dogs may show transient signs of fatigue. At the beginning of treatment a decrease in blood pressure may occur. Benazepril hydrochloride may increase plasma creatinine concentrations.
Route of administration
Orally.
Posology
Dogs: The dose is 0,23 mg benazepril/kg bw and day, which corresponds to 0,25 mg benazepril hydrochloride/kg bw and day. It should be administered orally once a day, with or without meals. This dose corresponds to 1 tablet per 20 kg, according to the following table:

• If it is considered clinically necessary and is advised by a veterinarian, the dose can be doubled (maintaining a single dose).
  Cats: the dose is 0,46 mg benazepril/ kg bw/ day, which corresponds to 0,50 mg benazepril hydrochloride/ kg bw at meals or outside of them. This dose corresponds:
