Composition per necklace:
Large dog (42 g): Diazinon 6,30 g.
Dog (30 g): Diazinon 4,50 g.
Pharmacological properties
Organophosphate insecticide that acts by inhibiting cholinesterase, leading to a
irreversible poisoning of the parasite. It is released progressively over time,
diffusing rapidly through the fatty layer of the animal's skin, thanks to its lipophilicity, acting
against fleas a few hours after being placed.
Interactions and incompatibilities
Do not administer together with other cholinesterase inhibitors, or with depressant drugs
of the CNS, phenothiazine type.
Indications and target species
Dogs: External parasitosis produced by the fleas of the species Ctenocephalides canis y felis
Prevention of infestations produced by ticks of the species Rhipicephalus
sanguineus, Dermacentor variabilis y Otobius megnini.
Contraindications
• Sick or convalescent animals.
• Animals less than 6 months old.
• Lactating females.

Occasionally hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
Dogs: A necklace/animal.
• Once the protective bag is open, place the collar around the animal's neck, leaving a
pair of slack fingers.
• Cut the excess piece of necklace. Its activity remains for 200 days.
Special precautions
• Prevent the animal from biting the collar.
• In case of accidental ingestion of the necklace, symptoms of cholinergic poisoning occur, and it is
convenient to administer atropine and 2-PAM.
• Avoid repeated or prolonged contact with the skin, washing hands after use.

Store the necklace in the hermetically closed protective bag and in a cool, dry and sheltered place
of the light.
