Product description

Panacur Oral Paste is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic designed to combat gastrointestinal nematodes in cats and dogs. In dogs, it also helps control the protozoan Giardia spp. Its paste form facilitates administration, either directly or mixed with food, making it ideal for pets weighing up to 6 kg.

Indications

Cats and dogs

• Kittens and adult cats: Control of gastrointestinal nematodes such as toxocara cati y Ancylostoma tubaeforme (adult and immature forms).
• Puppies and adult dogs: Control of nematodes such as toxocara canis, Ancylostoma caninum, and Uncinaria stenocephala, plus Giardia spp.

Dosage and Administration

• Adult cats: 75 mg of fenbendazole/kg bw for 2 consecutive days.
  Example:
  • Up to 2 kg bw: 3 syringe graduations per day.
  • 2,1 to 4 kg bw: 6 syringe graduations per day.
• Puppies, kittens and adult dogs: 50 mg of fenbendazole/kg bw for 3 consecutive days.
  Example:
  • Up to 1 kg of body weight: 1 syringe graduation per day.
  • 1,1 to 2 kg bw: 2 syringe graduations per day.

Method of administration:
Administer directly into the mouth or mixed with food. For pets over 6 kg, more than one syringe is required.

Precautions and Warnings

• Gestation: Do not use in pregnant cats or dogs before day 39 of gestation. Use under veterinary evaluation in the last third of pregnancy.
• Adverse reactions: Occasionally, animals may experience mild vomiting or diarrhea related to deworming.
• Personal precautions: Wear gloves when handling the product and wash your hands after administration.
