Product description

Panacur is a broad-spectrum oral antiparasitic designed for dogs, effective against roundworms and tapeworms. Its active ingredient, fenbendazole , is highly effective in eliminating parasites such as Toxocara canis , Toxascaris leonina , Ancylostoma caninum , Uncinaria stenocephala , Trichuris vulpis , and Taenia spp. It is also used in pregnant dogs to prevent the transmission of parasites to puppies, both before and after birth.

Indications

Dogs :

• Treatment of nematodosis and taeniasis caused by:
  • toxocara canis
  • Toxascaris leonina
  • Ancylostoma caninum
  • Uncinaria stenocephala
  • Trichuris vulpis
  • Taenia spp.
• Prevention of prenatal and postnatal infestations in pregnant bitches (toxocara canis y Ancylostoma caninum).

Dosage and Administration

The tablets can be administered directly, mixed with food or dissolved in water.

Therapeutic doses:

• Single dose: 100 mg/kg bw (1 tablet per 10 kg of weight).
• 3 day treatment: 50 mg/kg bw (1 tablet per 10 kg of weight, daily).
• 5 day treatment: 20 mg/kg bw (1 tablet per 25 kg of weight, daily).

Dosage for pregnant dogs:

• 25 mg/kg bw (1 tablet for every 20 kg of weight, daily), from day 40 of gestation until 2 days after delivery.
