Indications and target species
Dogs: Circulatory regulator. Treatment of alterations due to poor cerebral and peripheral circulation, improving the signs of apathy and lethargy.

Contraindications
Do not administer to pregnant or breeding animals.
efectos secundarios
In exceptional cases and in old and debilitated dogs, allergic skin reactions, for example urticaria, may occur and treatment should be discontinued.

Route of administration
Orally.

Posology
6 to 10 mg propentofylline/kg/day, dividing the dose into two daily administrations; that is, twice a day at a rate of:
From 2 to 4 kg: 1/4 tablet/dog.
From 5 to 8 kg: 1/2 tablet/dog.
From 9 to 15 kg: 1 tablet/dog.
From 16 to 25 kg: 1 ½ tablets/dog.
From 26 to 33 kg: 2 tablet/dog.
From 34 to 50 kg: 3 tablet/dog.
From 51 to 75 kg: 4 ½ tablets/dog.
• The duration of the treatment is 4 to 6 weeks, carrying out a veterinary control 2-4 weeks after starting. The treatment may be prolonged depending on the results obtained and according to veterinary criteria.
• The tablets can be administered directly, whole or in pieces, at the base of the tongue.

They can also be mixed with a small amount of food or incorporated into the diet.
Special precautions
• In animals with severe renal insufficiency, the dose should be reduced.
• Once the treatment has started, if no improvement in the symptoms caused by poor irrigation is observed, it should be discontinued, at the latest 4 weeks after its start.
