Pharmacological properties
Cypermethrin is a contact ectoparasiticide of the group of type II pyrethroids, which is characterized by containing an alpha-cyano group in its molecule. Type II pyrethroids primarily affect Na channels in the nerve membrane, causing long-lasting prolongation of the transient increase in membrane Na permeability during excitation. They maintain persistent modification of Na channels, depolarize the membrane, and block the action potential without causing repetitive presynaptic activity.

bovidae y Equidae (whose meat is not intended for human consumption): Flies (Haematobia irritans, Musca autumnalis, Hydrotaea irritans).
Bovidae: Lice (linognathus spp., haematopinus spp.).

Route of administration
Topical.
Posology
bovidae y Equidae:
• Fly control: Spray at the beginning of the fly season and repeat every month. In case of
excessive abundance of horn flies and face flies, spray every 15 days.
• Control of lice: Spray the entire body of the animal when lice are observed. repeat as many
times as necessary, with a minimum interval of 14 days.
To control flies and lice, administer a solution of 0,1 g of cypermethrin/100 ml of water.

bovidae y adult equids: 500 ml.
young bovidae: 250 ml.
Calves y Colts: 125 ml.
Special precautions
• Persons handling the product must wear protective clothing, gloves and safety boots.
