Composition per ml:
Amoxicillin (trihydrate) 150 mg.
Indications and target species
Pigs, Cattle, Sheep, Dogs y Cats: Bacterial enteritis, respiratory infections and
genitourinary infections.
Route of administration
Intramuscular or subcutaneous.
Posology
All species: 1 ml/15 to 30 kg bw, according to veterinary criteria.
• It is recommended not to extend the treatment more than 5 to 7 days.
• If no improvement is seen in the first 48 hours, reconsider the diagnosis.
Wait time
Meat:
– Cattle: 55 days.
– Pigs and Sheep: 30 days.
Milk: 2 days.
Comments
• The high concentration of amoxicillin, as well as the incorporation of a suitable excipient,
explain the prolonged effect of Amoxoil Retard.
• With veterinary prescription.
