Enrofloxacin 50 mg.

Indications and target species
Antibacterial with antimycoplasmic action for the treatment of infectious diseases of calves, pigs and dogs, caused by the following gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasmas sensitive to enrofloxacin.
Meat: E. coli, Haemophilus spp., pasteurella spp., Mycoplasma bovis.
Porcine: E. coli, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida.
Dog: E. coli, Salmonella spp., pasteurella spp., haemophilus spp., staphylococci.
Calf: Bacterial diseases of the respiratory and digestive tract (pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, colibacillosis, colisepticemia), as well as secondary bacterial diseases, for example the Crowding influenza complex of calves.
Pork: Bacterial diseases of the digestive tract (diarrhea and/or colibacillary septicaemia). Treatment and prophylaxis of MMA syndrome in sows. Pleuropneumonia due to Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae. Bacterial diseases of the respiratory tract caused by Pasteurella multocida.
Dog: Single and mixed bacterial infections of the respiratory and digestive organs, urinary tract, skin, as well as prevention of wound infections.

Contraindications
In dogs:
• Animals with cartilage growth disorders should not be treated.
• Exclude from treatment dogs under 12 months of age in small and medium size breeds and
18 months in large breeds or that have not finished their growth phase.
• Dogs with a clinical history of epilepsy and nervous disorders will also be excluded.

Route of administration
Subcutaneous or intramuscular.
Posology
pigs:
Basic dosage: 0,50 ml/10 kg bw/day (equivalent to 2,50 mg/kg bw/day), for 3 days
followed, via IM.
• MMA Syndrome: Treat for 1 or 2 days.
Calves:
Basic dosage: 0,50 ml/10 kg bw/day (equivalent to 2,50 mg/kg bw/day), for 5 days
followed by SC.
• Avoid applying more than 10 ml at the same injection point.
Dogs:
Basic dosage: 5 mg/kg body weight and day or 1 ml of Alsir® 5% per 10 kg body weight and day.
Wait time
Meat: 7 days.
