Intramammary suspension (Susp.m.)

Pharmacological properties

Bismuth subnitrate is not absorbed by the mammary gland but remains as a
seal on the teat until it is physically removed. (Demonstrated in cows with a dry period of
up to 100 days).
Interactions and incompatibilities
In clinical trials, the compatibility of Orbeseal has only been demonstrated with preparations for the
drying period containing cloxacycline.
