Zipyran Plus Sabor is a broad-spectrum internal antiparasitic formulated for large dogs. It treats intestinal infections caused by nematodes such as Toxocara canis, Ancylostoma caninum, and Trichuris vulpis, and cestodes including Echinococcus granulosus and Dipylidium caninum.
The combination of praziquantel, pyrantel embonate, and febantel works synergistically to paralyze and kill parasites. Praziquantel disrupts cestode tegument, pyrantel embonate acts as a neuromuscular blocker in nematodes, and febantel interferes with energy metabolism. This triple action ensures effective elimination in a single administration.
The product provides effective deworming in one dose. It prevents reinfestation when administered every 3 months. No fasting or special diet is required before use.
Each tablet contains praziquantel, pyrantel embonate, and febantel at concentrations providing 5 mg praziquantel, 5 mg pyrantel embonate, and 15 mg febantel per kg body weight.

Dosage by weight: 17.5 kg: 1/2 tablet; >17.5-35 kg: 1 tablet; >35-52.5 kg: 1.5 tablets; >52.5-70 kg: 2 tablets. Use as a single dose per treatment. Repeat every 3 months for prevention. For Echinococcus granulosus, repeat treatment as a safety measure. Do not store divided tablets after use.
