Broad spectrum endectocide for gastrointestinal and pulmonary parasites in cattle.
VIRBAMEC is an endectocide antiparasitic injectable solution for cattle. It treats and controls gastrointestinal roundworms (adults and L4), lungworms (adults and L4), warbles (parasitic stages), sucking lice, and mites.
The active ingredient ivermectin blocks nerve impulse transmission and stimulates GABA release at presynaptic nerve endings in nematodes and at neuromuscular junctions in arthropods. This action induces paralysis and death of the parasites.
The product shows a low incidence of inflammatory reactions at the injection site, which resolve without treatment. Transient pain and temporary general condition disturbances occur in very rare cases.
Each ml contains Ivermectin 10 mg.
For cattle: treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms (Ostertagia spp., including inhibited Ostertagia ostertagi, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp. adults), lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus), warbles (Hypoderma spp.), sucking lice (Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus), and mites (Psoroptes communis var. bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis).
