The active ingredients praziquantel, pyrantel, and febantel work synergistically to eliminate parasites at various life stages. Praziquantel disrupts tapeworm tegument, while pyrantel and febantel target nematodes through neuromuscular blockade and energy metabolism disruption.
For nematodes, PRAZITEL targets adult and advanced immature forms of Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, and Trichuris vulpis. For cestodes, it targets adult and immature forms of Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis, Taenia taeniaeformis, and Dipylidium caninum.
Clinical efficacy supports the recommended dosage of 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight, providing 5 mg/kg praziquantel, 5 mg/kg pyrantel, and 15 mg/kg febantel. No fasting is required before or after treatment.
Each tablet contains praziquantel 50 mg, pyrantel 50 mg (equivalent to 144 mg pyrantel embonate), and febantel 150 mg.
