The product contains amoxicillin (140 mg/ml) potentiated with clavulanic acid (35 mg/ml). Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, extending amoxicillin's spectrum against resistant bacteria.
In vitro, the combination is effective against Gram-positive bacteria including staphylococci, streptococci, and clostridia. It also covers Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., and Haemophilus spp.
Each ml contains amoxicillin trihydrate equivalent to 140 mg amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate equivalent to 35 mg clavulanic acid.
