Milbactor is a broad spectrum internal antiparasitic for cats. It treats and controls intestinal infestations caused by cestodes (tapeworms) including Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., and Echinococcus multiocularis, and nematodes (roundworms) including Ancylostoma tubaeforme and Toxocara cati. It also prevents dirofilariosis (heartworm disease) caused by Dirofilaria immitis when combined treatment is indicated.
The formulation combines milbemycin oxime and praziquantel. Milbemycin oxime targets nematodes and prevents heartworm by killing larval stages. Praziquantel disrupts tapeworm tegument, leading to parasite death. The tablets are divisible and flavored for easy administration.

For cats 2 to 4 kg: half a tablet. For cats over 4 to 8 kg: one tablet. For cats over 8 to 12 kg: one and a half tablets. For heartworm prevention, repeat monthly.
