Dogs: 0.20 mg meloxicam per kg body weight as a single dose, administered subcutaneously or intravenously. Cats: 0.30 mg meloxicam per kg body weight as a single dose, administered subcutaneously. For dogs with musculoskeletal disorders, treatment may continue with Metacam oral suspension or chewable tablets as directed by a veterinarian.
