Selectively increases bile secretion to support liver function and digestion.
LIVERFINE is an aqueous solution containing 10% fenoxy 2 methyl 2 propionic acid as sodium salt. It acts selectively on the liver by increasing bile secretion, which supports digestive functions. This choleretic action occurs directly on the glandular system without stimulating or depressing the central or autonomic nervous system.
LIVERFINE is indicated for all disorders characterized by or associated with hepatic insufficiency. Target species include cattle, goats, horses, pigs, and dogs. Specific conditions include ketosis (acetonemia), dyspepsia with bloat, ruminal impaction, food toxicosis, enterotoxemia, jaundice, and hepatic insufficiency due to piroplasmosis or leptospirosis.
The active ingredient is fenoxy 2 methyl 2 propionic acid sodium salt at 100 mg per mL. Dosing is 10 mg per kg body weight (1 mL per 10 kg). Administration routes are deep intramuscular, intraperitoneal, or slow intravenous. Doses may be repeated every 24 hours at the veterinarian's discretion.
Each mL contains fenoxy 2 methyl 2 propionic acid (as sodium salt) 100 mg.
