KLOREXIVET SPRAY 100ML treats superficial skin lesions in dogs and cats. It is indicated for dermatitis, interdigital furunculosis, pododermatitis, perivulvar dermatitis, perianal dermatitis, periprepucial dermatitis, pyodermas, nail infections, intertrigo, wounds such as cracks, bedsores, pad cuts, vasculitis, leishmaniosis, burns in the first 3 to 5 days, non open surgical wounds, and trauma. It also protects catheters, osteomies, UCI animals, polytrauma cases, and skin around wounds.
The spray works through its antiseptic action. Chlorhexidine digluconate at 20 mg per gram provides broad spectrum antimicrobial activity. Ethanol adds a short acting antiseptic effect. Menthol and thymol offer antiseptic and analgesic action with a cooling effect that brings freshness and relief. After application, the product forms a bioadhesive film that stays on the wound, discouraging licking due to its bitter taste.
