It is indicated for immunocompromised animals, including those with infectious processes, immunosuppression from drugs, geriatric immunosenescence, stress from surgery or trauma, gestation, lactation, puppies, malnutrition, and hypoproteinemias of hepatic, renal, digestive, or hemorrhagic origin.
IMPROMUNE contains Nucleoforce, a specific nucleotide formula developed from studying mammalian needs. Nucleotides are semi-essential immunonutrients that, when supplied orally, support optimal immune response during immunosuppression. Nucleoforce promotes macrophage phagocytic activity and their interaction with T cells, as well as T lymphocyte maturation, proliferation, and activity. AHCC, a Lentinus edodes mycelium extract, promotes NK cell activity, macrophage proliferation, and T cell differentiation to Th1.
Studies demonstrate a synergistic effect of the Nucleoforce and AHCC combination on innate and adaptive responses. This synergistic effect is patented. The product is contraindicated in cases of antibody-mediated immunopathological processes such as hypersensitivity.
Each palatable tablet contains Nucleoforce 585 mg and AHCC 315 mg, plus magnesium stearate.
