Albendazole works by interfering with nutrient uptake in helminths. In some parasites, it also inhibits tubulin protein synthesis. This dual mechanism provides broad-spectrum activity against diverse worm species.
The product is effective against Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia curticei, Nematodirus filicollis, Chabertia ovina, Oesophagostomum venulosum, Dictyocaulus filaria, Moniezia spp., and Fasciola hepatica (mature forms).
