FLEVOX PERRO 20-40 KG is a spot-on solution containing fipronil for the treatment of flea (Ctenocephalides spp.) and chewing louse (Trichodectes canis) infestations in dogs. The active ingredient fipronil kills adult fleas within 48 hours of contact. New flea infestations are controlled for up to eight weeks after application.
The product also provides persistent acaricidal efficacy against ticks. It works against Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Dermacentor reticulatus for up to four weeks, and against Ixodes ricinus for up to three weeks. If ticks are already present at application, some may not be eliminated within the first 48 hours, but all are killed within one week.
FLEVOX can be used as part of a management strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) when previously diagnosed by a veterinarian. The solution is applied dorsally to the skin between the shoulder blades.
