FINADYNE is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated as an injectable solution. It contains flunixin meglumine, a potent analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic agent. It is indicated for the treatment of acute inflammatory conditions, pain, and fever in pigs, cattle, and horses.
In pigs, FINADYNE is recommended as an aid in treating metritis-mastitis-agalaxia (MMA) syndrome. In cattle, it provides antipyretic effects in acute inflammatory processes. In horses, it relieves inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders and visceral pain from colic.
Clinical studies show that in horses with colic, pain is often relieved in less than 15 minutes after intravenous administration. Maximum response for musculoskeletal conditions occurs between 12 and 16 hours, with activity lasting 24 to 36 hours. Approximately 10% of horses required one or two additional treatments in clinical trials.
Each ml contains flunixin (as meglumine) 50 mg, and excipient q.s. 1 ml.

Pigs: 2.2 mg/kg body weight (2 ml/45 kg) by deep intramuscular injection (5 cm). Do not deposit in adipose tissue. 1 or 2 injections separated by 12 hours. Cattle: 2.2 mg/kg (2 ml/45 kg) intravenously for antipyretic effect in acute inflammation. Horses: 1.1 mg/kg (1 ml/45 kg) once daily for musculoskeletal disorders, by IM or IV injection, for up to 5 days. For colic pain: 1.1 mg/kg IV for rapid relief. Repeat if clinical signs return.
