Supports liver function and regeneration in cats with chronic liver disease.
Farmina Vet Life Hepatic is a complete dietetic food formulated for the nutritional support of liver function in cats with chronic liver failure and other liver disorders. It reduces the metabolic workload on the liver, promotes regeneration of liver tissue, and improves quality of life.
The formula uses highly digestible fish protein, chicken fat, and fish oil as sources of omega-3 fatty acids. It contains easily digestible carbohydrates from rice and corn starch, and a blend of soluble and insoluble fibers from pea fiber and beet pulp. The food is low in copper (approximately 1.5 mg/kg) to help control hepatic copper accumulation.
Clinical benefits include reduced liver metabolic load, support for liver tissue regeneration, high digestibility and palatability, and antioxidant protection for liver cells. It supports the cat's immune system and improves nutrient digestion and absorption.
Active ingredients: dehydrated fish protein, chicken fat, fish oil, rice, corn starch, pea fiber, beet pulp, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, DL-methionine, taurine, vitamins (E, C, B1, B2, B6, B12, niacin, pantothenic acid, folic acid), minerals (iron, zinc, manganese, iodine, selenium). Low copper content: approximately 1.5 mg/kg.
Indicated for adult cats with chronic liver failure, hepatic lipidosis, cholangitis, chronic hepatitis, and other liver pathologies. Not recommended for kittens, pregnant or lactating cats, or cats without a confirmed liver diagnosis.
Introduce gradually over 7 days. Daily ration depends on weight: 2 kg cat: 30-40 g/day; 4 kg cat: 60-75 g/day; 6 kg cat: 90-110 g/day. Minimum treatment duration: 6 months. May be used indefinitely under veterinary supervision.
