It treats and prevents infestations by fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) for one month, acting as an adulticide, ovicide, and larvicide. It also prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis with monthly administration and is safe in animals already infected with adult heartworms.
The product treats infestations by lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus), ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), and sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei) in dogs. It also treats adult roundworms (Toxocara cati, Toxocara canis) and, in cats, adult hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme).
Apply one pipette according to the animal's weight. The minimum dose is 6 mg selamectin per kg body weight. Apply to a single spot on the skin in front of the shoulder blades. Animals can be bathed 2 hours after treatment.
