ENDOGARD SABOR PERROS 100 COMPRIMIDOS is an oral anthelmintic for large dogs. It treats mixed infestations caused by nematodes including Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, and Ancylostoma caninum. It also targets cestodes such as Taenia spp. and Dipylidium caninum.
The product combines three active ingredients: praziquantel, pyrantel embonate, and febantel. Praziquantel acts against cestodes by disrupting their tegument. Pyrantel and febantel target nematodes through neuromuscular paralysis and metabolic disruption respectively.
Each tablet contains praziquantel 175 mg, pyrantel embonate 504 mg, and febantel 525 mg. The recommended dose is one tablet per 35 kg body weight. Do not use with piperazine compounds. Rare side effects include uncontrolled defecation, diarrhea, or vomiting in some puppies.
