If your dog has pyoderma or your cat has an abscess, the antibiotic must be taken in its entirety, and their acceptance helps. MARBOCYL PALATABLE 5MG 10 TABLETS are palatable tablets containing 5 mg of marbofloxacin for dogs and cats, in a pack of 10.

For what do you use it

In dogs, it is used for skin, soft tissue, upper and lower urinary tract (with or without prostatitis), and respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible strains. In cats, it is used for skin and soft tissue infections such as wounds, abscesses, and phlegmons, and for upper respiratory infections.

How it is presented

• 5 mg tablets, with a pleasant taste.
• Ten tablets per pack.
• For dogs and cats.
• One dose taken orally every day.

How it is administered

The dosage is 2 mg/kg per day, that is, one tablet per 2,5 kg, in a single dose. In dogs, skin and soft tissue infections are treated for at least 5 days; urinary tract infections, for at least 10 days; and respiratory infections, for at least 7 days. In cats, treatment lasts 3 to 5 days for skin and soft tissue infections and 5 days for upper respiratory tract infections. The final duration of treatment is determined by the veterinarian.
