TELMIN® UNIDÍA Oral Suspension is a highly effective and versatile internal antiparasitic for veterinary use, indicated for a wide range of species: dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits (not intended for human consumption), rodents, ornamental birds, and reptiles . Its active ingredient, Mebendazole (20 mg/ml) , effectively combats gastrointestinal nematodes and cestodes, including Toxocara , Ancylostoma , Trichuris , Taenia , and Echinococcus.

Thanks to its liquid formulation and Tutti Frutti flavor, it's ideal for animals that refuse tablets. It includes dosing syringes to facilitate precise administration in small or exotic species.

Composition (per ml):

• Mebendazole : 20 mg

• Main excipients : Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate, Quinoline yellow (E-104), Tutti Frutti essence, purified water.

• Cestodes : Taenia pisiformis , T. hydatigena , Hydatigera taeniaeformis , Echinococcus granulosus

Ferrets: Toxocara sp. , Toxascaris sp.

Rabbits: Passalurus ambiguus , Obeliscoides cuniculi , Ancylostoma sp. , Taenia pisiformis

Rodents: Syphacia spp. , Aspicularis tetraptera , Dentostomella translucida , Rodentolepis nana/diminuta

Ornamental birds: Capillaria spp. , larvae/microfilariae of the Filarioidea family

Dosage and duration of treatment:

Route of administration: Orally.
Standard dosage in dogs and cats: 1 ml/kg bw/day

• Nematodiasis : 3 consecutive days

• Cestodiasis : 5 consecutive days

Adjusted doses for exotic species (see detailed professional guide):

• Ferrets: 5 ml/kg/day (2 doses daily), 2 days

• Rabbits: from 0.5 ml/kg to 5 ml/kg/day depending on the type of parasite

• Rodents: 1 ml to 5 ml/kg/day, single dose or for 5 days

• Ornamental birds: 1.25 ml/kg/day for 5 days

• Reptiles: 1.25–5 ml/kg/day, repeat after 14 days depending on species

Cautions and Warnings:

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to mebendazole or excipients.

• Use with special care in psittacine and columbiform birds.

• Do not administer during pregnancy (dogs, cats and rodents), unless directed by a veterinarian.

• May occasionally cause vomiting or diarrhea.

• In case of overdose, symptoms are usually mild and reversible gastrointestinal.
