42,41 €
Monthly oral antiparasitic for dogs weighing 2,5 to 5 kg. Triple action against internal and external parasites and heartworms.
Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, and other small breeds need deworming treatments tailored to their weight. Simparica Trio 2,5-5 kg is a broad-spectrum oral antiparasitic from Zoetis for dogs weighing 2,5 to 5 kg: one chewable tablet per month protects against fleas, ticks, and intestinal roundworms, with prevention of heartworm and bloodworm. Box of three tablets.
For what do you use it
Its three active ingredients are sarolaner (fleas and ticks), moxidectin (heartworm and lungworm), and pyrantel (intestinal worms such as Toxocara, Ancylostoma, and Uncinaria). It is indicated for puppies from 8 weeks of age and 1,25 kg, and is very useful in areas with a risk of parasites, where monthly use helps prevent infestations and reduce transmission to other members of the household.
How it is presented
- Box of 3 chewable tablets; boxes of 1 and 6 are also available.
- Per tablet: sarolaner 6 mg, moxidectin 0,12 mg and pyrantel (as embonate) 25 mg.
- Dogs from 2,5 to 5 kg, from 8 weeks and 1,25 kg.
How it is administered
One oral tablet every 30 days, with or without food, undivided. The effect lasts up to 30 days. Monitor the dog during the first dose and, if vomiting occurs within two hours, notify the veterinarian as the dose may need to be repeated. Do not use in pregnant or lactating dogs or in puppies below the minimum age or weight.
