FAQ

Is the FERPLAST OSCAR 120 CUSH GREY bed easy to assemble?

Yes, assembly is simple and requires no tools. The frame is assembled by fitting the plastic pieces together, and the cushion is placed directly onto the base. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes.

Is the cushion stain and water resistant?

The cushion is made of polyester with a stain-resistant treatment, but it is not completely waterproof. For added protection, you can use an additional waterproof mattress cover if your dog is incontinent or tends to soil the bed.

Can I use this bed for a small breed dog?

It's not recommended, as the size (120 x 80 cm) and height (22 cm) are designed for large dogs. A small dog might have difficulty jumping or feel overwhelmed by the space. More compact models are available in the same Ferplast range.

How long does the cushion last before losing its shape?

With proper use and maintenance (washing every 2-3 months and drying thoroughly), the cushion maintains its shape and support for at least 2-3 years. The plastic frame typically lasts longer, provided it is not subjected to strong impacts.

Is it suitable for dogs with allergies?

Yes, the cushion is hypoallergenic and contains no latex or dust-collecting materials. Furthermore, its washability reduces the buildup of dust mites and allergens, benefiting dogs with respiratory or skin sensitivities.

Can I buy a replacement cushion for this bed?

Yes, Ferplast sells replacement cushions specifically for the OSCAR 120 model. You can purchase them in specialist stores or in our online veterinary shop, ensuring full compatibility with the frame.
