A dog with atopic dermatitis needs a clear and consistent treatment plan. CYCLAVANCE 30ML is an oral solution containing cyclosporine (100 mg/ml) in a 30 ml bottle, administered with a dosing syringe.
For what do you use it
It treats the clinical manifestations of atopic dermatitis in dogs: itching and inflammation. Since these signs are not exclusive to the disease, external parasites, other allergies (fleas, food), and bacterial or fungal infections must first be ruled out. The manufacturer advises flea control before and during treatment.
How it is presented
- Concentration: 100 mg of cyclosporine per ml.
- Reference dose: 5 mg/kg, i.e., 0,05 ml per kg.
- 30 ml bottle, oral solution.
- Storage: Do not refrigerate; once opened, do not exceed 25°C.
How it is administered
It is given daily, two hours before or two hours after meals, by inserting the syringe into the mouth. Initially, it is given daily until satisfactory improvement is achieved, between 4 and 8 weeks. If there is no improvement after 8 weeks, it is discontinued. Once symptoms are controlled, the dosage is reduced to once every two days, with clinical monitoring. A 10 kg dog receives 0,5 ml.
FAQ
Which dogs cannot receive CYCLAVANCE 30ML?
Children under 6 months of age or weighing less than 2 kg, those with pre-existing or ongoing malignant tumors, and diabetics. Also contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to cyclosporine.
What's happening with the vaccines?
Live vaccines should not be administered during treatment or in the 2 weeks before or after.

Mild and transient digestive disturbances: vomiting, loose stools, and diarrhea. Less frequently, lethargy or hyperactivity, anorexia, swollen gums, or moderate salivation. In very rare cases, diabetes mellitus, especially in West Highland White Terriers.
What if my dog has kidney disease?
The manufacturer recommends monitoring creatinine levels. In breeding or pregnant dogs, the veterinarian should assess the benefit and risk.
Always follow the veterinarian's instructions and attend scheduled clinical check-ups.
