Conofite Forte 20 ml is a topical otic product indicated for treating external otitis in dogs and cats, especially those associated with bacteria, fungi and inflammatory processes of the ear canal.

It combines three active ingredients with complementary action, and its oily formula promotes adherence in the ear. It should always be used under veterinary prescription.

Composition:

• Neomycin sulfate (antibiotic)
• Clotrimazole (antifungal, active against Malassezia pachydermatis)
• Fluocinolone acetonide (anti-inflammatory corticosteroid)
• Excipients: oily vehicle

Indications of use

• Bacterial external otitis.
• Otitis caused by fungi, especially Malassezia.
• Inflammatory processes of the ear canal and mixed infections.
• Cases with itching, bad odor or discharge.

Instructions for use and dosage

Administer as directed by the veterinarian. Gently clean the ear canal before applying, shake the bottle, apply the prescribed dose (usually a few drops, once or twice a day), and massage the base of the ear to distribute the product. Avoid bathing until the treatment is complete.

Precautions and contraindications

• Do not use in case of eardrum perforation or if eardrum damage is suspected.
• Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to any of its components, especially aminoglycosides or corticosteroids.
