Pharmaceutical form:

Composition: per ml:
2-Methyl-2-phenoxy-propionic acid (as sodium salt) 100 mg.

Pharmacological properties:
Liverfine is an aqueous solution containing 10% 2-methyl-2-phenoxy-propionic acid that is characterized by its selective action on the liver, increasing bile secretion and thus favoring digestive functions.
This secretion stimulation action is performed by acting directly on the glandular system, without exciting or depressing the central or autonomic nervous systems.
Due to this choleretic action, Liverfine is indicated for the treatment of all disorders characterized by or associated with hepatic failure.

Indications and target species:
For those processes in which hepatic dysfunction or alteration is involved.
In particular:
Cattle, Goats: Ketosis (acetonemia), dyspepsia with bloating, ruminal impaction, alimentary toxicosis, complementary treatment in cases of fluke and dicroceliosis.
Equine: Liver disorders due to nutritional imbalance, liver failure due to piroplasmosis and leptospirosis.
Pigs: Enterotoxaemia, hepatic failure and constipation, also after farrowing or weaning.
Dogs: Jaundice, liver failure, as an adjuvant during the treatment of leptospirosis and distemper.

Posology:
For all target species, the dosage is 10 mg of phenoxy-2-methyl-2-propionic acid (sodium salt) per kg of body weight (equivalent to 1 ml of Liverfine/10 kg bw).
Adult cattle and horses: Up to 300 kg bw: 30 ml of Liverfine, 300-500 kg bw: 40 ml of Liverfine, over 500 kg bw: 50 ml of Liverfine.
Calves, Foals, Goats, Pigs: 5 15 ml of Liverfine.
Piglets and Dogs: 1 ml of Liverfine/10 kg bw).
• Inject deep intramuscularly, intraperitoneally, or intravenously (slowly).
• The aforementioned doses can be repeated every 24 hours, at the discretion of the veterinarian.
