KLOREXIVET SPRAY 30ML

COMPOSITION:
Chlorhexidine digluconate 20 mg/g; ethanol; menthol and thymol.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Klorexivet sanitizes and protects wounds in pets thanks to its antiseptic action. Once the wound is treated, it creates the right environment for healing and prevents microbial overgrowth in the wound.
Ethanol provides an additional antiseptic effect to chlorhexidine, of short duration. On the other hand, menthol and thymol provide an antiseptic and analgesic action with a cold effect, which provides freshness and relief.

INTERACTIONS AND INCOMPATIBILITIES

INDICATIONS
Dogs and Cats: Treatment of superficial injuries, as in the following situations:
– Dermatitis: interdigital furunculosis (cysts), pododermatitis: inflammation of the skin that can affect interdigital spaces, pads and nails, perivulvar dermatitis, perianal dermatitis, peripreputial dermatitis.
– Skin infections: pyodermas, nail infections, intertrigo.
– Wounds: cracks or bedsores, cuts in pads, vasculitis, leishmaniosis, burns (in the first 3-5 days), non-open surgical wounds, trauma.
– Protection: application in catheters, osteomy, ICU animals (surgical incisions, closed wounds), polytrauma, skin around wounds.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Topical.

POSOLOGY
Dogs and Cats: Spray generously (2-3 times for every 5 cm of wound) on the affected area 2 or 3 times a day.
Mode of application: Shake the container well before use and spray on the wound at a distance of 10-12 cm. After application, do not touch for at least 2 minutes so that the bioadhesive film forms.
• After a long period without using Klorexivet, shake vigorously and press or spray several times in succession until the product appears.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
• It is recommended to cease its application once the healing phase has ceased.
• Do not apply to eyes. In case of spraying in the eyes, remove the product with plenty of water.

PRESERVATION MODE
Store in a dry place and protected from sunlight.

OBSERVATIONS
Klorexivet has a bitter taste that discourages pets from licking the wound, contributing to a longer stay in the area where it has been applied.
