Easotic is an ear suspension treatment designed to combat acute otitis externa and acute exacerbations of recurrent otitis externa in dogs. This medication combines anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial action, providing fast and effective symptom relief.

What is Easotic and what is it used for?

Easotic is specifically formulated to treat ear canal infections in dogs caused by gentamicin- sensitive bacteria and miconazole -sensitive fungi , such as Malassezia pachydermatis . It is ideal for:

• Treatment of acute otitis externa.
• Management of recurrent episodes of otitis externa.

Composition:

For each ml of otic suspension:

• Hydrocortisone aceponate: 1,11 mg/ml (anti-inflammatory action).
• Miconazole nitrate: 15,1 mg/ml (antifungal action).
• Gentamicin sulfate: 1505 IU/ml (antibacterial action).

Dosage and administration

Recommended dosage:

Cautions and warnings

1. Do not use in case of:
   • Hypersensitivity to corticosteroids, azole antifungals or aminoglycosides.
   • Perforated eardrum or use of ototoxic substances.
   • Dogs with generalized demodicosis.
2. Discontinue treatment if hearing disturbances occur, especially in geriatric dogs.
