A cat with kidney problems can lose potassium and become lethargic. KAMINOX 120ML is a highly palatable liquid nutritional supplement with potassium, B vitamins, and amino acids, in a 120ml bottle with a calibrated pipette.

For what do you use it

It is intended as nutritional support for cats with chronic kidney disease and other conditions with low blood potassium levels. It helps maintain these levels within the appropriate range and provides B vitamins and amino acids in cases of deficiency. It is not a complete food.

How it is presented

• Each 2 ml provides 468 mg of potassium (potassium gluconate), equivalent to 2 mEq.
• Amino acid complex with taurine, lysine and arginine, among others.
• Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12.
• Brown liquid with calibrated pipette.

How it is administered

The manufacturer recommends 2 ml per 4,5 kg of body weight, one to three times a day, depending on blood potassium levels. For levels of 3-3,5, administer 2 ml per 4,5 kg twice a day; for levels of 3,5-4, administer between 0,5 and 1 ml. Shake well before use. Do not administer to cats with high potassium levels, such as in cases of acute kidney failure, acute dehydration, or urethral obstruction, and use with caution in cats with heart disease.
