Effective treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases in cattle and pigs.
DRAXXIN is an injectable antibiotic for cattle and pigs. It treats and prevents Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somni, and Mycoplasma bovis. It also treats Infectious Bovine Keratoconjunctivitis (IBK) associated with Moraxella bovis. In pigs, it treats and prevents Porcine Respiratory Disease (PRD) associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, and Haemophilus parasuis.
DRAXXIN contains tulathromycin, a semisynthetic macrolide antibiotic. Its unique formula provides rapid and prolonged action against bacteria causing respiratory infections.
The recommended dose is 2.5 mg tulathromycin per kg body weight, equivalent to 1 mL per 40 kg. Administer subcutaneously in cattle and intramuscularly in pigs. For animals over 300 kg (cattle) and 80 kg (pigs), divide the dose into multiple injection sites.
Each mL contains 100 mg tulathromycin.
