It eliminates adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) rapidly and persistently.
A single dose provides protection against fleas and most ticks for 12 weeks. For Rhipicephalus sanguineus, protection lasts 8 weeks. Bravecto can also be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), a common allergic reaction to flea bites.
