DEYANIL RETARD is a steroidal anti-inflammatory injectable suspension for bovine, equine, and dogs. It treats ketosis, milk fever, inflammation, hypoglycemia, and allergies in cattle; inflammation and allergies in horses and dogs.
The active ingredient is dexamethasone isonicotinate, a synthetic glucocorticoid with 25 times the anti-inflammatory activity of cortisol and minimal mineralocorticoid effect. It also increases blood glucose and liver glycogen.
The therapeutic effect lasts a minimum of 4 days, with detectable levels persisting for 10-20 days after a single dose.
Each ml contains dexamethasone isonicotinate 1 mg.
