Its astringent, desensitizing, and healing effects make it especially indicated as an adjunct in periodontal conditions and as excellent support before and after dental treatment.
The innovative formulation targets all phases of oral conditions. Chlorhexidine digluconate is a cationic antiseptic effective against fungi and bacteria, with high water solubility and good antiplaque activity due to slow release and prolonged bacteriostatic effect. Sodium fluoride alters bacterial metabolism by inhibiting essential enzymes, preventing bacterial proliferation that causes plaque and bad breath. Zinc gluconate inhibits dental plaque formation by sequestering ions and destabilizing mineralization.
