CREDELIO Plus is indicated for the treatment of mixed infestations and infections of ticks, fleas, gastrointestinal nematodes, heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis), and lungworm (Angiostrongylus vasorum) in dogs. It is suitable for dogs at risk of simultaneous parasitic infections.
The product kills ticks and fleas after they attach to the host, providing protection for one month. It also helps in the treatment strategy of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). For gastrointestinal nematodes, it targets hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum at L4, immature, and adult stages), roundworms (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina), and whipworms (Trichuris vulpis).
CREDELIO Plus prevents heartworm disease by preventing infestations by Dirofilaria immitis larvae. It also reduces the level of infection with immature and adult stages of Angiostrongylus vasorum lungworm.
Each chewable tablet contains 225 mg of active ingredient(s) as per the product name (Credelio 225/8.44 mg).
