It treats mixed parasitic infestations including fleas (Ctenocephalides felis), ticks (Ixodes ricinus), ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), roundworms (Toxocara cati), and hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme). It also prevents heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) for 8 weeks.
Fluralaner and moxidectin are the active substances. Fluralaner provides immediate and persistent insecticidal and acaricidal activity. Moxidectin targets nematodes and prevents heartworm. Fleas and ticks must attach to the host and begin feeding to be exposed to the active substance.
