BAYTRIL FLAVOR 15 mg is a broad spectrum antibacterial and antimycoplasmal oral tablet for dogs and cats. It treats respiratory infections, bacterial enteritis, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and otitis. It is also indicated for mixed bacterial infections of the respiratory and digestive organs, urinary tract, ear, and skin, as well as for preventing wound infections.
The active ingredient enrofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone that acts bactericidally by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase. This mechanism provides a broad bactericidal spectrum and antimycoplasmal action.
For chronic or severe infections, treatment may be extended up to 10 days or more. If no clinical improvement is seen within 3 days, reconsider treatment.
