Baytril Flavor 15 mg is an antibacterial and antimycoplasmal oral tablet for dogs and cats. It treats respiratory infections, bacterial enteritis, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and otitis. It also prevents wound infections.
The active ingredient enrofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone that acts on bacterial DNA gyrase to kill bacteria. It has a broad bactericidal spectrum and antimycoplasmal action.
For chronic or severe infections, treatment may extend to 10 days or more. If no clinical improvement is seen within 3 days, reconsider treatment.
Each tablet contains enrofloxacin 15 mg.
For dogs and cats: respiratory infections, bacterial enteritis, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and otitis. Also for prevention of wound infections and treatment of individual and mixed bacterial infections of the respiratory, digestive, urinary, ear, and skin systems.
Dogs: 1 tablet per 3 kg body weight per day for 5 days (equivalent to 5 mg enrofloxacin/kg/day). For chronic or severe infections, treatment may be extended up to 10 days or more. If no improvement in 3 days, reconsider treatment. Follow your veterinarian's prescription.
